SCENARIO
Imagine
you are talking to a relative, a friend or a work colleague
about the need to be careful.
At
some point, the other person says:
"who
is not careful?"
In
Spanish, the other person could choose to say:
¿Quién
no tiene cuidado?
OUR
TIP
Answering
this question should be straightforward. Naming the person who is not
careful may be sufficient. However, you may use the expression tener
cuidado to make your answer more informative.
Here
are some examples of how you could use that expression:
- Yo no tengo cuidado (I am not careful);
- Tú tienes cuidado, ¿no? (you are careful, aren't you);
- Nadie tiene cuidado (nobody is careful);
- Pedro tiene mucho cuidado (Pedro is very careful);
- María tiene mucho cuidado (María is very careful);
- Nosotros todos tenemos cuidado (we are all careful);
- Pedro y María tienen cuidado (Pedro and María are careful);
Now
you should practise answering the question:
¿Quién
no tiene cuidado?
