Fuente

Today's WOTD is: "fuente" = spring
1. In Spanish, “fuente” is a feminine noun of Latin origin, the main meaning of which is spring, as in:
  • El agua de esa fuente es muy buena (the water from that spring is very good);
2. The word “fuente” may also mean fountain, as in:
  • Nos gustó mucho la Fuente de Trevi (we really liked the Trevi Fountain);


3. The word “fuente” may also mean source or origin, as in:
  • El sol es una fuente de energía (the sun is an energy source);


4. The word “fuente” may also mean platter, salver or even a bowl, as in:
