Escenario

Today's WOTD is: "escenario" = stage

In Spanish, “escenario” is a masculine noun of Latin origin, the main meaning of which is stage, as in:
  • Varios espectadores intentaron subirse al escenario (several spectators tried to climb on to the stage);


The noun “escenario” may also mean scenario, as in:
  • La propuesta contempla dos escenarios diferentes (the proposal contemplates two different scenarios);

The noun “escenario” may also mean scene or setting, as in:
  • Ese estadio fue el escenario de la final (that stadium was the scene of the final);
