Bufanda

Today's WOTD is: "bufanda" = scarf

In Spanish, “bufanda” is a feminine noun thought to be of French origin and meaning scarf.


The noun “bufanda” may also be used colloquially to refer to some sort incentive (a backhander, a sweetener or a perk).


Some commonly used expressions with the word “bufanda” are:


  • Bufanda de lana (woollen scarf);
  • Bufanda de seda (silk scarf);
