Tren

Today's word is: "tren" = train


In Spanish, “tren” is a masculine noun of French origin meaning train and used as in:
  • El tren está a punto de salir (train is about to depart);






Some Spanish expressions with the word “tren” are:

*Remember that “coger” is a verb which in some parts, especially in the Americas, has a sexual connotation and may be liable to misinterpretation.
**The Spanish AVE (Alta Velocidad Española) is an example of a high speed train.
