Asiento


Today's WOTD is: "asiento" = seat

In Spanish, the noun "asiento" is a masculine noun of Latin origin, the meaning of which is seat.

Some commonly used expressions containing the words "asiento" are:
  • Asiento abatible (folding seat);
  • Asiento anatómico (adjustable seat);
  • Asiento delantero (front seat);
  • Asiento de eyección (ejection seat)
  • Asiento expulsor (ejection seat);
  • Asiento proyectable (ejection seat)

  • Ceder el asiento (to give up one's seat);
