Mucho

La palabra de hoy es: 'mucho' = a lot (for example, a large quantity of something not counted nor measured!). Perfidia

Alma

The word of the day is: 'alma' = soul.

In Spanish, 'alma' is a feminine noun of Latin origin.

Grammar.- The noun 'alma' belongs to a group of Spanish nouns which, despite being of feminine gender, they they require a masculine article 'el' (i.e.: 'el alma'). This rule does not apply when there is another word in between the article and the noun 'alma' (for example 'la caritativa alma').
 
A couple of examples of the use on the noun 'alma' are:
