Cristal

La palabra de hoy es: 'cristal' = glass/crystal. In Spanish, 'cristal' is used a type of material ( glass) or the form of rocks (crystal). However, 'cristal' is never used to mean a container (e.g.: a glass of wine)
Ejemplos:
  • Un vaso de cristal y no de plástico  (a proper glass, not a plastic cup)
  • La amatista es un cristal (Amethyst is a crystal)
